Our FAA certified remote pilots are using drones to create high resolution, to-scale 2D maps called orthomosaics, stitched together from hundreds or thousands of drone photos. 3D topographic point clouds can be created in a similar manner, and volumetric measurements can then be taken to accurately estimate the amount of material available on site, or to calculate the amount of fill needed.
